Game description and comments:
This isn't going to be a good review. I own the first Red Faction, and
I was aware that #2 was made for the PS2, but I guess I put too much faith in THQ. Turns out its just a lame port of
the PS2, graphics and all, and WOW does it show, Low rez textures, bad draw-in distance, so-so sound FX. The whole PS2
bundle is there. There is no quick save, so when you die you'll have to keep redoing the level over and over till you
beat it. Its also so much shorter than the first Red Faction, fact is I beat the game in 2 hours. If I had know it was
going to be that short I woulda saved my money. Another fact is that there is no multiplayer online, you can play multiplayer
offline, but its only against the PC. There is no level editor, no improvements for the PC, NOT ONE BLASTED IMPROVEMENT
what so-ever for the PC. I recommend saving your money and waiting for the new Matrix game thats due out soon. (it's
ESRB rated Mature <though I'm not sure why, the violence is kinda lame>)
